HIKE.

My boss finally hired someone so I've had so much free time. Basically that just means I have a ton of free time which mainly I've been using to play Halo. Ok yes I also do other stuff. Let's see... I'm still gardening but mainly that means digging all of the rocks out of the garden which takes forever so I don't think it'll be done for at least another week and I don't know if you can even plant stuff that late in the year. I'm going to go to the library next week to get some books on gardening and I'm crossing my fingers because if I can't plant stuff then I'll have to wait next year and I'll probably need to clear rocks again.

The new employee is nice. Her name is Pat and she's a little older but super nice. Sometimes she brings in cookies or whatever to share and that's awesome. When she has extra I try to bring them back for Rachel and Autumn. She's pretty nice, I guess she beat cancer a few years ago and is like a elderly daredevil. RACHEL SAID SHE'S NOT ELDERLY, SHE'S MIDDLE AGED. MY BAD. She told me this story about how she went bungee jumping in the rainforest which sounds pretty badass. Apparently the mosquitos there are no joke though except mosquitos have never really bothered me. My mom said my sisters have al lthe tasty blood haha.

I ended up going on a hike with Rachel and some of her work friends a few weeks ago which was kinda nice. I wish there were more places to hike around here but you have to worry about ticks and I hate ticks. Her work friends are nice even if they are MIDDLE AGED also. They all met at a teachers conference last fall and get together and do stuff like hikes. It was pretty nice, the weather has been so nice lately. It was kinda a weird place. I thought I'd never actually been there because I didn't recognize the start of it but I guess we walked for longer than I thought and I was super turned around because we stopped at this lake and I actually used to smoke there all the time in high school. We had to call the parks service because the water was so polluted. It was honestly kinda pretty with how it was like swirling and when it caught the light sometimes it looked shiny and metallic. I guess there was some kind of oil spill or something. There was a bunch of like wood and trash washed up on the banks and there was fish and I thought they were dead but then they flopped all over and went back into the water. I don't even know how they clean that up or if the lake is just going to look like that forever now. I mean obviously they're going to clean it up but I don't know how really.

I forgot to mention that Rachel and I have a new show to watch. Doctor Who the new one just came out and a family friend sent us a copy so we got to watch the first couple episodes. I was really excited to see it cause my dad and me used to watch it together when I was a kid. Every week we would practice our accents all day and make oven pizza for dinner. Becks said it would be sweet if I did something like that for Autumn so she's talking to Paul and they're changing date night to Saturdays so my buddy can get us the episodes. The first episode was pretty good. I like the chic the doctor is traveling with and I thought it was pretty funny. The boyfriend being plastic was pretty weird to think about and I was thinking What if I was plastic? which was weird haha. Ok peace.
